Deviation must fit the monthly theme posted at the top of the page. We retain the right to reject any submissions that we feel do not match the theme. (Artwork can still be submitted to the group it just will not qualify for the contest.)

I wonder if the people in medieval times ever dreamt of space travel. That is the inspiration for this piece anyway. I suppose they would still think of navigation in terms of compasses and stuff. 

So, I believe this is a new personal best for me. I am totally pleased with the way it turned out, and the compass is my MASTERPIECE so I will cry if someone constructively criticizes it. Lol
